Whether on vacation or off to a jobsite, you need the best soundtrack to fit your mood, and these days, you want to stay connected to the digital world around you, even on the go. Honda Ridgeline technology gives you ample options for entertainment and several ways to connect.
The Way Music Was Meant to Be Heard: A 200-watt audio system with seven speakers including a subwoofer is standard on the RT, Sport, and RTL models, while a 225-watt audio system is standard on the RTL-T trim. RTL-E and Black Edition drivers get a premium 540-watt audio system with eight speakers including a subwoofer, and an external truck-bed audio system so you can enjoy high-quality audio in the outdoors.
A World of Audio Possibilities: The Ridgeline includes the dependable radio standard, but with an innovative radio data system that displays information about the song, talk show, or station you’re listening to right on the dash. You and your passengers can connect an MP3 player or audio device using the auxiliary input jack, Bluetooth streaming audio, or the 1.0-amp USB audio interface port located in the center console. A 1.5-amp smartphone/audio USB interface is included in the RTL-T and above models. More ways to listen are included in the RTL-T and higher trims, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, which allow drivers and passengers to connect their smartphone wirelessly for streaming audio or managing apps using the touchscreen. Other audio sources include SiriusXM, HD Radio, and the Pandora streaming service, which opens up your entertainment options to thousands of artists.
Easy Audio Control: You can easily manage your audio sources with the 5-inch color LCD display screen on the RT, Sport, and RTL models. RTL-T, RTL-E, and Black Edition drivers can manage their audio with an 8-inch touchscreen that includes the ability to customize feature settings.
Be Connected: On all Ridgeline models, you can answer and make phone calls through your paired phone using just your voice with Bluetooth HandsFreeLink. The RTL-T model includes HondaLink, which allows you access to vehicle guides, recall notification, and the ability to receive and respond to texts right through the 8-inch display. You’ll also have no problem keeping your gadgets running with the two 2.25-amp USB charging ports situated in the second row.
Superior Navigation: With the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System, you’ll never get lost using the real-time maps, and you’ll always be on time with the updated road conditions included with HD Digital Traffic. The built-in voice-recognition technology will let you keep your eyes on the road while finding the best route to your destination.
Advances in safety technology have come a long way over the years, and Honda engineers ensured they had the most up-to-date safety systems installed in the Honda Ridgeline.
Extra Eyes: On the RTL-T trim, the Honda LaneWatch system gives you a live display of the lane immediately to your right, showing you almost four times more than the standard side mirror. The multi-angle rearview camera, available on all models, lets you see directly behind the Ridgeline when maneuvering out of packed parking lots or backing out of driveways on busy roads. The rearview camera on the Ridgeline RTL-T model and above has dynamic guidelines, which adjust to give a visual display of the best path to take.
Driver-Assist Technology: The RTL-E and Black Edition trims come with a lane keeping assist system, which helps you maintain your lane position when movement out of the lane is detected without the turn signal being engaged. The blind spot information system notifies you when vehicles are detected in your blind spots, so you can confidently change lanes. Adaptive cruise control allows you to set your speed, and then when approaching a slower-moving vehicle, the system reduces your speed to avoid collision. In darker conditions, automatic high-beam headlights turn on and off depending on oncoming traffic.
